Vacancy Description
The Troubled Families programme is a five year national programme with the aim of transforming the lives of the most complex and vulnerable families. The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead have an established Intensive Family Support Project (IFSP) and are actively working with identified families within the Borough.
The Intensive Family Support Key Worker role is to engage with families referred in to the service, with entrenched, complex and multiple needs. This will include assessing family members, planning interventions and delivery of intervention. You will be responsible for a caseload consisting of whole families.
In addition you will be responsible for telephone contact with families and professionals, signposting, attending Team around the Child meetings (TAC) and other professional meetings. You will also be expected to liaise with external service providers and other agencies to deliver support requirements.
