We are looking for an experienced commissioning and public health professional to fill our Public Health Commissioning Officer role within the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM). You will have an interest in addressing the wider determinants of health, with knowledge and understanding of the impact that local government and other external agencies can have on health and well-being.
Based within Strategy and Commissioning, you will provide support to the Public Health Service Lead for Contracts and Commissioning in the planning, delivery and evaluation of commissioned services. You will build on your existing experience of contract and performance management, including data analysis, quality monitoring and compiling reports for key commissioned services.
You will also be a key member of the network of public health teams working to improve health and wellbeing and to reduce health inequalities for the people of Berkshire, by supporting a broad portfolio of public health lifestyle projects, initiatives and service improvement activities.
