To make Optalis ‘s vision a reality, Optalis is looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist who is enthusiastic and motivated to be the best OT they can be while being an active Lead in developing our service further.

We are seeking applicants with experience in Moving & Handling to become a central part of Leading the Duty side of our team for incoming referrals, managing the more complex Moving & Handling cases while assisting OTs and Assistants in their day-to-day work and development. Applicants with experience in a Senior role would be ideal but a desire to improve & develop services is essential.

We have high professional standards and expect timely work through put to help our residents. However, our OTs have a realistic, protective & personalised case load. This to ensure our OT’s are supported and professionally protected so they can do the best job they can, whilst enjoying their work.

Our current OT Service focusses on the long term physical and age-related disability needs of our adult residents. Our OT Service has also started developing preventative and care efficiency projects with hopes of developing more, to enable people with disabilities to have their best life possible.

You must have a BSc qualification in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and be registered with the Health Professions Council.
