The Berkshire Sensory Consortium Service (BSCS) are looking to appoint a Teacher Support Officer due to an internal promotion. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly team providing essential administrative support for our peripatetic Teachers of the Deaf, Vision and Multisensory Impaired who work with sensory impaired children and young people 0-25 years across Berkshire. The role will also support our communication with parents, educational settings, and other stakeholders as part of a small central team. The post is term time only.
The role requires previous office experience, good administrative and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently. The ability to be well organised and to meet deadlines is essential. For more details on the role please see the Job Profile.
BSCS is hosted by Achieving for Children on behalf of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead as part of the pan Berkshire joint arrangements to deliver the service.
